"We aim to glorify the LORD by LOVING THE LORD AND LOVING ONE ANOTHER"

That is more than just a catchy statement. It has serious ramifications for what we do as a church and how we live our lives. When we choose to live our lives in this way, it changes everything! Here is just a glimpse of what it looks like -

• We understand that to LOVE the LORD means that we must OBEY the LORD. (John 14:15; John 15:10, 14; 1 John 2:3-6, 10-11)
• We are diligent to study the Word of God.
• We aim to live in accordance with the Word of God.
• We seek to please the LORD first and foremost.
• Our worship is focused on the LORD.
• We seek to glorify the LORD with every thought, word, and action.
• We proclaim the Gospel as we are commanded to do.

• We understand that we must LOVE one another by truly caring for each other. (John 15:12; 1 John 3:18, 23-24)
• We are diligent to encourage one another in the LORD and in obedience to the LORD.
• We bear one another's burdens, both physical and spiritual.
• We reflect the character of love towards one another as found in 1 Corinthians 13.
• We are willing to speak the truth to one another, even when it is difficult.
• We show grace and compassion towards one another, especially when we disagree.
• We proclaim the Gospel to the world so that "whosoever will" may come to the LORD.

To learn and practice everything that goes into "loving the LORD and loving one another" takes a whole lifetime! We do not claim to be perfect or to have it all figured out. However, we are grateful to be on the journey together as a church! Come, see, and experience it for yourself!
